Hapalua Half Marathon Training Week 2

Again, I’m just posting catch up.  At this point in time I’m half way through week 3.  I was going to start fresh, and pretend I was just doing a 10 week training program.  But that’s a lie.  And I can’t lie, this has to be real and what I’ve been doing.  It’s the only way to see improvements.  So, here goes, what week 2 looked like.  

Monday, Jan 23rd
–  3 mile run, easy pace (10:10min/mile)
–  BBG – legs & cardio, week 3

Tuesday, Jan 24th
–  6 x 400m, 1 mile warm up, 1 mile cool down
Splits: 8:01, 7:49, 7:52, 7:38, 7:47, 7:52
    Total miles:

Wednesday, Jan 25th
–  1 mile run, warm up
–  BBG – arms & abs, week 3
–  1 mile run, cool down

Thursday, Jan 26th
– 4 x 5mins at tempo pace, 1 mile warm up, 1 mile cool down
Splits: 8:47, 8:44, 8:28, 8:22
Total miles: 5.27

Friday, Jan 27th
–  BBG – full body, week 3

Saturday, Jan 28th
–  Nothing!

Sunday, Jan 29th
–  Tennis (with the Husband)
–  1.25 miles, easy run (10:22min/mile)
–  Koko Head Climb

Overview:  A good week.  Better than week 1,  but still a lot of room for improvement.  I missed out on a 60 minute long run, but I’m not too worried.

Total weekly mileage: 16.55 miles
